Unived signs Hayden Hawks

Unived is happy to announce the signing of American National team runner, Hayden Hawks.

Hayden is one of the brightest prospects in the ultra-distance trail running space, and is an NCAA Division 1 all American athlete. He ran track & field and cross country at his college, Southern Utah University. Hayden holds some impressive timings to his credit, 8:05 (3k),13:51 (5k), and 28:53 (10k), and has recently taken the ultra-distance trail running scene by storm. In his very first trail race, he qualified for the USA Mountain Running Team, and went on to place 4th (individually) and winning the gold medal (team) at the World Championships in 2016. He will be returning to the Trail World Championships in 2017, racing for team USA.

Hayden won his first ever 50k last year at the Speedgoat 50k which is considered one of the hardest 50k races in North America. Shortly after, he made the fastest ever 50mile debut at the TNF 50 miler in San Fransisco, finishing second to Zach Miller. He recently recorded the FKT for the 48.7mile (6463 ft. of vertical gain) Zion National Park Traverse with a time of 6:50:49, smashing the previous FKT by over 30 minutes.

"Hayden joins Unived as our first American athlete, and this marks our entry into the US markets. Unived has been a pioneer in India with plant-based Vegan nutrition for endurance athletes. Since 2010, we have been researching the effects that Indian indigenous plants have on overall health and sports performance, and this has formed the architecture of our formulations. We have innovated in this space and have some unique formulations that set us apart from other companies. We're excited to enter the US markets with these products and are confident that they will be well received. We're really happy to have Hayden as part of the Unived family, we have a long-term vision and are committed to growing the brand in the USA," says Amit Mehta, Founder & CEO, Unived.

Hayden is a Hoka One One Athlete and also runs for the St. George Running Center. He is happily married and lives in St. George, Utah.
